HydraGlue project is awarded with the best poster prize
Great scientists, great ideas and, of course, great results! This is how I could define the international workshop, “Animal Evolution: New Perspectives From Early Emerging Metazoans”, which was held at the Evangelische Akademie Tutzing, Germany, 14-17 September 2015.
The HydraGlue project contributed to the workshop with two poster presentations:
– Unravelling the components of Bioadhesive precursors in Hydra
– Towards an identification of the basal disc glue of Hydra by integrating transcriptomic and proteomic tools
Both posters were highly visited and I was offered with lots of feedback. The latter one was awarded with the Best Poster Prize sponsored by Elsevier, Zoology. I would like to thank very much for the prize, and all my colleagues which I am indebted for the valuable feedback, as well as for the organizers for shaping such an inspiring workshop. I also must congratulate all the attendees which presented their own research either in oral or poster sessions. Thank you very much and see you 2017 🙂 !
